R. J. Blue started Hire the Insider with a simple goal, to use his 15 years of experience as an attorney for insurance companies to help individuals fight back against insurance companies. 

R. J. Blue spent 15 of his 22 years as a licensed attorney working for major insurance companies, including Farmers, Nationwide and Progressive.  R. J. Blue represented businesses, trucking companies, insurance policy holders and the insurance companies themselves in nearly 2,000 lawsuits across the state of Texas. He tried more than 100 cases with a focuses on complex civil litigation, trials and appeals involving personal injuries and insurance claims, including first-party cases against insurance companies. R. J. Blue wrote and taught courses on evidence, trial technology, jury selection, damages, and the use of persuasive psychology during jury selection and trial.   

R. J. Blue is Board-Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and Board-Certified in Civil Trial Law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. He also holds an MBA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University and a B.S. in Business Management/Finance from the University of Tennessee.
